My dear friend, Vicky, has been one of our greatest prayer warriors and supporters during this trial. She checks on us almost daily and is always so uplifting. One of the qualities that I love most about Vicky is that she always seems to have the Scriptures needed for the moment. I wanted to share her those from yesterday in hopes that they will be a blessing to you as well. She speaks from experience as she was her mother’s caregiver while her mother had cancer. Thank you, precious Vicky! You always manage to encourage and uplift us!
~Psalm 61:1-4 “Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.”
~2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
~Psalm 119:76-77 “Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. Let thy tender mercies come unto me…”
