Did You Hear God’s Voice Today?

Have you heard the Lord’s voice today? Have you been listening for it? He speaks to us when we take the time to listen. Today’s Christian is bombarded with distractions and misses hearing God’s still small voice. However, God does not only speak to us in our prayer closet.

~Psalm 135:7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

~Psalm 104:16-17 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted; (16) Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house. (17)

~Job 40:22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.

The Lord speaks to us through His creation. We only need to listen and to look around us.

So when we really need to hear from God, stop for a moment and look around. ~Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
