Good morning!
I thought it would be nice to have a place where born-again Christians with cancer, or who have family with cancer, can come together and share Scriptures, experiences, tips, encourage each other, etc.
My husband, John, was diagnosed with stage one colorectal cancer about a month ago. His radiation and chemo treatments begin either today or tomorrow. Our church family has been wonderful and encouraging. However, I must admit that it is way more encouraging to talk to those who have been through cancer. I don’t know what people do without the Lord, to be honest with you! It has been a roller coaster ride to say the least and I know that we have just begun. If I could take this trial away from my husband I would. My heart breaks at what lies ahead but I know that the Lord will be there right beside him.
So, I hope that this blog will end up growing and that we can be of help to one another. I have come to love these precious verses!
(Psa 18:6) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. (Psa 121:1) [A Song of degrees] I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
(Psa 121:2) My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
So, I am hoping that this blog can make a difference in the lives of those with cancer and those who have family with cancer. With the Lord’s help and grace, we can go through anything and He will sustain us!

I’ve been praying for you and your hubby! I pray the Lord comforts you both abundantly as you go down this difficult road ahead of you. I can tell you He is faithful!! I have seen several of my Christian friends go through this battle and in the end received healing one of two ways…either here or in Heaven. I can tell you that each of them were rejoicing. Those that lost their fight had such peace till the very end. And that will forever be etched in my mind and heart.
Love you and praying for you both!!!
